Local business patrols

Yesterday as part of the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships (NABCP) Awareness Week, Fulham Safer Neighbourhood Team joined forces with Fulham BID, Safer Business Network, Hammersmith & Fulham Community Safety Team, and the Cyber Resilience Centre for London for a day of action across Fulham.

Fulham SNT worked closely with in store security teams and used a mix of plain clothes and uniformed patrols, popping up at different locations throughout the day supported by Safer Business Network who provided up to date intelligence on known offenders, emerging trends, and local crime patterns, allowing Police, Fulham BID Ambassadors, and partners to focus their efforts where they were most needed. Officers dealt with all offences they encountered, with positive action taken wherever appropriate and over £100 worth of stolen goods recovered and returned to retailers. 

Alongside this activity, we supported Fulham BID and Safer Business Network in engaging with businesses across the area—sharing crime prevention advice and helping retailers build safer environments for staff, customers, and the wider community.
